mAYA AND tEOTIHUACAN
Monument (art and architecture)- One of Mesoamerica’s staple architectures are their pyramids. We have captured the magnificence of these structures in our own model here in our park. The pyramids are generally earth mounds faced with stone. Only privileged people were allowed to approach and climb to the top.

Agriculture: The Mesoamericans were remarkable farmers. The plants they farmed included not only familiar staples like maize (corn), beans, and squashes but also a wide range of other popular vegetables and fruits, including tomatoes, avocados, and pineapples.there was a common Mesoamerican market for commercial agricultural products. Cotton was an important commercial crop.

Come to one of our ritual pyramids at the scheduled time to witness a family-friendly ritual in worship of the Teotihuacan gods! On special calendar dates, just as the Teotihuacan people did, we will hold special rituals for show. During the show, you will learn about 5 of the major gods: The Spider Goddess, a creator deity; the Water Goddess, Chalchiuhtlicue; Xipe Totec, who represented agricultural renewal, the war god Tlaloc; and the Old Fire God, also a creator god.

The Book store:
The Mesoamerican section of the theme park contains a book store with books that showcase the philosophy and law in Mesoamerica. The contained some of the most advanced writing systems in ancient times, allowing for the translation of many of their writings into these books. They discuss strict laws and cultural beliefs within many of the civilizations. |
